Day 1 Sunday, March 4
Depart Boston Logan airport at 20:15 on El Al flight direct to Tel Aviv.
Day 2 Monday, March 5
Arrive in Ben Gurion International Airport - Tel Aviv at approximately 14:10 meet the guide and coach for a transfer to the Manger Square Hotel, just a minutes walk from the birth place of Jesus in Bethlehem, here we stay for 2 nights.
Day 3 Tuesday, March 6
After breakfast we enjoy a full day in Bethlehem. Visit the Church of the Nativity and see the birthplace of Jesus and the Holy Manger. See the Churches of St Catherine, St Jerome, St Joseph, and the Holy Innocents. Return to the hotel for lunch. Afternoon visit the lovely Milk Grotto, and the Shepherds Fields. Dinner at hotel.
Day 4 Wednesday, March 7
Morning drive by the Inn of the Good Samaritan, to the Dead Sea. Time to relax or float on the water near where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found at Qumran. Continue to Masada and ascend by cable-car to Herods Fort. Break for lunch. Afternoon drive into Jericho, see the Mount of Temptation, and the Sycamore tree of Zacchaeus. Drive along the Jordan Valley to Nazareth, and stay at the Legacy Hotel for 4 nights with dinner and breakfast.
Day 5 Thursday, March 8
Drive to the Mount of Beatitudes for reading of the great Sermon on the Mount. Boat trip across the Sea of Galilee with relevant Bible readings. Stop for a lunch of St Peters Fish on the shore of the Sea of Galilee. Afternoon drive to Capernaum to visit the old Synagogue and see the excavations of Peters house. Nearby, visit the church of the Primacy by the sea-shore, and the site of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish at Tabgha. Return to hotel for dinner.
Day 6 Friday, March 9
Depart for Cana and visit the church of the Wedding Feast site of Jesus first miracle. Renewal of Wedding Vows for married couples on the trip. Continue to Nazareth. Visit the Basilica of the Annunciation, see the Cavehome of the Holy Family, Josephs workshop, and Marys Well. Lunch. Afternoon drive to Haifa, see the beautiful Bahai Gardens, and visit the Carmelite church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Return to hotel for dinner.
Day 7 Saturday, March 10
Morning drive to Mount Tabor. Ascend by taxi to the Church of the Transfiguration, where we celebrate Mass, and view the Valley of Armageddon. Continue to Yardinet at the River Jordan, for renewal of our Baptismal Vows. (Lunch own arrangement). Afternoon free in Tiberias, or visit the Caprice Diamond Factory. Dinner at hotel.
Day 8 Sunday, March 11
Drive across the Jezreel Valley to Emmaus, where Jesus appeared after His Resurrection. Continue to Bethany and visit the Tomb of Lazarus. Drive into Jerusalem and check into the Jerusalem Gold Hotel for 3 nights with dinner & breakfast.
Day 9 Monday, March 12
Drive to the Mount of Olives for group photo, and view the Old City. Visit the Ascension Dome, Pater Noster church, Dominus Flevit, Assumption church and Grotto and the Garden of Gethsemane. After lunch, visit church of St Peter in Gallicantu church of the Cock-Crow, and see the dungeon where Jesus was held on Holy Thursday night. Walk around Mount Zion and visit the church of the Dormition, Tomb of David, and Room of the Last Supper. Return to hotel for dinner.
Day 10 Tuesday, March 13
Morning in the Old City of Jerusalem. Visit church of St Anne and Pool of Bethesda. Walk the Via Dolorosa to the church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Rock of Calvary. Visit the Western Wall. Lunch. Afternoon drive to Ein Karem to visit the church of the Visitation, and church of St John the Baptist. Visit Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial. Evening Holy Hour in the Garden of Gethsemane. Dinner at hotel.
Day 11 Wednesday, March 14
Mid-morning depart for Tel Aviv-Jaffa. Visit the Franciscan church, and nearby, see the home of Simon the Tanner. Lunch. Afternoon free time in Tel Aviv at this beautiful Mediterranean beach resort. Dinner. Evening drive to Tel Aviv airport. 21.00 check-in for return overnight flight to Boston departing at 00.05.
Day 12 Thursday, March 15
Arrive in Boston Logan Airport at 05.30.
