Day 1

16.30hrs check-in at Newark airport for overnight United Airlines flight to Shannon departing at 19.35.

Day 2

07.00 arrive in Shannon. Meet driver and guide and drive to the mighty Cliffs of Moher towering 700 feet above sea-level. Continue across the Burren to Galway. See the Spanish Arch, Eyre Square, Salmon Weir and visit Galway Cathedral for Mass. Check into our hotel in Galway for 2 nights, bed & breakfast.

Day 3

Morning drive to Knock, Irelands premier Marian Shrine. Visit the Basilica and Apparition Chapel, where Our Blessed Lady appeared in 1879, along with St Joseph, St John, and Jesus in the form of the Lamb of God.Drive to the famous Ballintubber Abbey for Mass and tour of the Abbey. Continue via Westport to Croagh Patrick a pilgrimage mountain where St Patrick fasted for 40 days, for a short walk up to the statue.Drive to Attymass, birthplace of Fr Patrick Peyton the Rosary Priest. Tour of the house and enjoy some tea and homemade scones. Return to Hotel in Galway

Day 4

This morning we drive to Bunratty Castle and visit the Folk Park. Travel via Limerick to the quaint little town of Adare where we celebrate Mass and admire the local thatched cottages. Continue through Killarney and Molls Gap, to Kenmare. Check into the Kenmare Bay Hotel, for 7 nights bed & breakfast.

Day 5

Full day tour to Killarney. Returning via Molls Gap, Ladies View, Torc Waterfall, Muckross House & Gardens, and Ross Castle, we arrive in the town of Killarney. Celebrate Mass in the Cathedral. Enjoy a traditional Jaunting Cart trip through Killarney National Park to the famous Lakes of Killarney for a pleasant boat trip.Evening return to Kenmare.

Day 6

This morning we drive to Port Magee and take the 9 mile boat trip to Skellig Michael. On this Rock there are the ruins of an early Christian Monastery, Beehive Cells, Burial Enclosures and Stone Crosses.N.B. we view the sites from the boat as we circle the island, as this is not a landing tour. On our return, we drive via Derrynane House, birthplace of Daniel OConnell, the Liberator. Continue through Caherdaniel to Sneem, where we celebrate Mass. Return to Kenmare.

Day 7

Full day to relax, explore the town of Kenmare, enjoy a game of golf, ramble or cycle in the mountains.

Day 8

Full day tour to the Dingle Peninsula. Driving through Killorglin we remember the annual Puck Fair and at Inch Strand, we remember the scene from Ryans Daughter. Travel through Dingle and Ventry, where we see a number of Beehive Stone Huts, to Slea Head where we can view the great Blasket Island. Drive through Dunquin and Ballyferriter a Gaelic speaking area to Gallarus Oratory, an early Christian Church.Return through Dingle, Castlemaine and Killarney to Kenmare.

Day 9

Day tour to the tourist resort of Glengarriff with its Plue Pool and exquisite gardens on Garnish Island, and Gougane Barra - source of the River Lee where we see the Hermitage of St Finbarr patron Saint of Cork. The town of Bantry overlooks Bantry Bay and the Whiddy Island Oil Terminal.

Day 10

Another day of freedom in Kemare for personal activities and visits.

Day 11

After breakfast, depart for Ballyvourney and visit the Holy Well of St Gobnaith. Drive to Cashel and visit the Rock of Cashel, one of Irelands great historic sites, and seat of the Kings of Munster. See the Castle, Cathedral, Round Tower, and the Wall Tomb of Archbishop Myler McGrath. Drive via the Devils Bit to Athy for afternoon Mass and celebrations in St Marys Church, Barrowhouse, near Msgr Brennans ancestral home. Continue to Dublin and check into hotel for 3 nights.

Day 12

This morning we celebrate Mass at the Lourdes Grotto, kept by the Oblate Fathers in Inchicore. Our city panoramic sightseeing tour includes : Kilmainham Jail, Phoenix Park, Civic Museum, OConnell street and the Millennium Spire, Abbey Theatre, Custom House, Trinity College, Dail Eireann (seat of the Irish Government), Georgian Squares, City Hall, Dublin Castle, Christchurch and St Patricks Cathedrals, and the Guinness Brewery. Afternoon drive to Glendalough and visit the remains of the 6th century monastic settlement of St Kevin.Cross the Wicklow Gap on return to our hotel.

Day 13

Mass this morning in Dublins Pro-Cathedral, followed by a day of leisure in the city. Your opportunity to see the famous Book of Kells in Trinity College, visit the Guinness Brewery and taste the famous brew, or go shopping in Grafton St or Henry Street. For our final evening we enjoy a Dinner/Cabaret show, with Irish music, song and dance in the Merry Ploughboy pub.

Day 14

Transfer to Dublin Airport for those returning to the USA this day.
