Check-in at Los Angeles airport for overnight transatlantic flight to Lisbon via Newark.
Wednesday, 11 October
On arrival you will meet your Marian Pilgrimages Guide and drive into Lisbon to visit the Church and birthplace of St Anthony. Our panoramic tour of the city highlights of Lisbon includes : Jeronimos Monastery, the Belem Tower, Monument to the Discoveries, Commercial Square, and Edward VII Park. Drive to Fatima and check into hotel for 4 nights with breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Thursday, 12 October
Morning orientation tour of the shrine at the Esplanade. Mass in the Capelinho Chapel of Apparitions at Cova da Iria, visit the Basilica of the Rosary and see the tombs of Francisco, Jacinta and Lucia, see the big Holmoak, the Monument to the Sacred Heart & Spring, the Berlin Wall, and the High Cross. Lunch. Afternoon visit the Chapel of the Trinity, the Perpetual Adoration chapel, and the Museum. Dinner. Evening Rosary and Candlelight Procession at the Capelinho.
Friday, 13 October
This morning we attend the centenary celebrations with Mass at the outdoor Altar on the Esplanade. This is followed by a Procession, and the Adeus Farewell (bring a white handkerchief). Lunch. Afternoon free in Fatima. Dinner. Evening Rosary & Candlelight Procession.
Saturday, 14 October
Morning walk the Hungarian Way of the Cross to Valinhos and Aljustrel. See Loca do Anjo, the Well in Lucias garden, and visit the homes of the little Shepherds. Visit the Parish Church on return. Lunch. Afternoon drive to Santarem for Mass in the Church of the Eucharistic Miracle. Dinner at hotel followed by Rosary & Candlelight
Sunday, 15 October
Morning drive to Balazar and visit the home of Blessed Alexandrina, followed by Mass at her Shrine. Picnic Lunch. Afternoon drive to Braga and visit the shrine of Bom Jesu do Monte and see the magnificent Via Dolorosa. Continue to Santiago de Compostela for 2 nights with dinner & breakfast.
Monday, 16 October
Visit the Cathedral of St James. See the Portico of Glory, the Jesse Tree, Master Mateo, the tomb of St James, and embrace his statue above the High Altar. Con-celebrate the Pilgrims Mass at 12 noon. Afternoon drive to San Paio for a short walk on the famous Camino de Santiago to Lavacolla. Here, we taste Tart de Santiago, the local wines, and confectionary.
Tuesday, 17 October
After breakfast depart for Avila birthplace of St Teresa of Avila. Visit the old walled town, the Cathedral, and celebrate Mass in the convent of Santa Teresa. Continue to our hotel in Madrid for 2 nights, dinner & breakfast.
Wednesday, 18 October
Full day in Madrid. Morning panoramic city sightseeing tour will include : Royal Palace, Cathedral, Plaza Mayor, Puerta de Alcala, Cybele Palace (City Hall), Gran Via Street, Bull Ring, and monuments to Alfonso XII, Cervantes, and Christopher Columbus. Afternoon free in Madrid for personal sightseeing or shopping.
Thursday, 19 October
Full day drive across the Spanish countryside to Barcelona. Check into hotel for 2 nights with dinner & breakfast.
Friday, 20 October
Morning panoramic city sightseeing tour includes : Basilica of Sagrada Familia symbol of Barcelona, Cathedral of the Holy Cross, National Palace, City Hall, Olympic Stadium, Triumphal Arch, University, Agbar Tower, Christopher Columbus Monument, Placa de Catalunya and Placa dEspanya. Afternoon at leisure in Barcelona. Do some last minute shopping, or, visit some of the many interesting places seen on our panoramic tour. Final dinner at hotel.
Saturday, 21 October
Transfer to Barcelona airport for return flight to Los Angeles via Newark.
