Day 1 Saturday, October 3rd, 2026
Depart Boston for Mexico
Today we begin our pilgrimage to Mexico, departing from Boston Logan International Airport. Check in for American
Airlines flight AA2247, departing Boston at 1:18 PM and arriving in Miami at 4:50 PM. After a brief layover, connect
to flight AA0257 at 5:35 PM for Mexico City, where you will arrive at 7:00 PM local time. On arrival, you will be met
by your Marian Pilgrimages representative and transferred by private coach to your hotel. Dinner will be arranged
depending on arrival time. Overnight in Mexico City.
Day 2 Sunday, October 4th, 2026
Arrival in Mexico City
This morning, following breakfast and a chance to refresh from your travels, we gather with our guide to begin our
pilgrimage. We visit the Plaza of Three Cultures in Tlatelolco, a profound site where the layers of Mexicos history
Aztec, Spanish, and modernmeet in one space. From there, we continue to the Church of St. James, where St. Juan
Diego first revealed the Virgins miraculous image to Bishop Zumrraga.
Our journey brings us to the highlight of the pilgrimagethe Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, the most visited
Marian shrine in the world. Here we venerate the sacred image of Our Lady imprinted on Juan Diegos tilma. We will
celebrate Mass near the image and visit both the Old and New Basilicas, the Chapel of Pocitos, and climb Tepeyac
Hill, where the Virgin first appeared. After time for private prayer and reflection, we return to our hotel for dinner
and overnight in Mexico City.
Day 3 Monday, October 5th, 2026
Mexico City: Zcalo & Paseo de la Reforma
After breakfast, we explore Mexico Citys historic center, beginning at the Zcalo, the enormous central plaza that
once formed the ceremonial heart of the Aztec capital. Visit the National Palace, famed for its magnificent Diego Rivera murals depicting Mexicos layered history.
We will celebrate Mass today in one of the city's beautiful historic churches before continuing with a scenic drive
along the Paseo de la Reforma, one of Mexico Citys most elegant boulevards, passing monuments such as the Angel
of Independence and statues commemorating Mexicos rich cultural heritage. Return to the hotel for dinner and
overnight.
Day 4 Tuesday, October 6th, 2026
Teotihuacan: The City of the Gods
This morning we leave the city and travel to the ancient archaeological site of Teotihuacan, once the spiritual and
political center of Mesoamerica. Walk the Avenue of the Dead, flanked by majestic stone temples, and marvel at the
Pyramids of the Sun and Moon, symbols of a long-lost civilization.
There will be time to wander the site, contemplate its mysteries, and perhaps stop in a nearby artisan village or caf
for lunch on your own. Later in the afternoon, we return to Mexico City to rest and refresh before gathering together
for dinner at the hotel.
Day 5 Wednesday, October 7th, 2026
Xochimilco, Blessed Miguel Pro & Coyoacn
We begin the day with Mass at the Church of the Holy Family, where the relics of Blessed Miguel Pro, Jesuit martyr
of the Cristero War, are enshrined. His courageous witness of faith during persecution still inspires countless pilgrims.
After Mass, we travel to the floating gardens of Xochimilco, where a gentle ride on traditional boats takes us through
the colorful canals lined with flowers. This peaceful moment amidst natural beauty is a unique contrast to the bustling city. In the afternoon, we continue to Coyoacn, a charming colonial district known for its art, history, and vibrant markets. Enjoy time at leisure for lunch and exploration before returning to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 6 Thursday, October 8th, 2026
Cholula and Arrival in Puebla
After breakfast, we bid farewell to Mexico City and journey southeast toward Cholula, a town steeped in both ancient tradition and Christian renewal. Here we visit the Church of Santa Mara Tonantzintla, renowned for its brilliantly colorful baroque interior that fuses indigenous and Spanish artistry.
We also ascend the hill above the Great Pyramid of Cholula, the largest pyramid by volume in the world. The view
from its summit offers breathtaking panoramas of Mexicos fertile valleys. Later, we continue to the city of Puebla,
known for its colonial architecture and culinary heritage. Dinner and overnight in Puebla.
Day 7 Friday, October 9th, 2026
Puebla, Tlaxcala & San Miguel del Milagro
This morning we begin with a guided walking tour of Pueblas historic center, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit
the Cathedral of Puebla, the Dominican Cloister, and the resplendent Rosary Chapel, often referred to as the Eighth
Wonder of the World.
From Puebla we travel to Tlaxcala, where we celebrate Mass at San Miguel del Milagro, the site of St. Michael the
Archangels 1631 apparition and miraculous healing spring. Later we visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Ocotln, where
the Virgins image was miraculously left on the trunk of a tree. Return to Puebla for a final dinner together, giving
thanks for the graces of this unforgettable pilgrimage.
Day 8 Saturday, October 10th, 2026
Return to Boston
After breakfast, we check out and travel back to Mexico City International Airport for our return flights home. Check
in for American Airlines flight AA0264, departing Mexico City at 12:45 PM and arriving in Miami at 6:05 PM. From
there, connect to flight AA2539, departing at 7:40 PM, and arrive in Boston Logan International Airport at 10:52 PM.
