Day 1 Sunday, May 19
Depart Boston Logan airport for overnight flight direct to Tel Aviv.
Day 2 Monday, May 20
Arrive in Tel Aviv. Meet coach and guide, and transfer to Manger Square Hotel in Bethlehem, for 2 nights with dinner & breakfast.
Day 3 Tuesday, May 21
Full day in Bethlehem. Visit the Church of the Nativity and see the birthplace of Jesus and the Holy Manger. See the Churches of St Catherine, St Jerome, St Joseph, and the Holy Innocents. Lunch at hotel. Afternoon visit the lovely Milk Grotto, and the Shepherds Fields. Dinner at hotel.
Day 4 Wednesday, May 22
Morning drive by the Inn of the Good Samaritan, to the Dead Sea. Time to relax or float on the water near where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found at Qumran. Continue to Masada and ascend by cable-car to Herods Fort. Break for an opportunity to enjoy lunch. Afternoon drive into Jericho, see the Mount of Temptation, and the Sycamore tree of Zacchaeus. Drive to Nazareth, and stay at the Legacy Hotel for 3 nights, dinner, bed & breakfast.
Day 5 Thursday, May 23
Visit the Basilica of the Annunciation, see the Cavehome of the Holy Family, Josephs workshop, and Marys Well. Depart for Cana and visit the church of the Wedding Feast site of Jesus first miracle. Renewal of Wedding Vows for married couples on the trip. Lunch. Afternoon drive to Mount Tabor. Ascend by taxi to the Church of the Transfiguration, and view the Valley of Armageddon. Return to hotel for dinner.
Day 6 Friday, May 24
Boat trip across the Sea of Galilee with relevant Bible readings. Drive to the Mount of Beatitudes for reading of the great Sermon on the Mount. Lunch of St Peters Fish. Afternoon visit Capernaum to see the old Synagogue and the excavations of Peters house. Nearby, visit the church of the Primacy by the sea-shore, and the site of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish at Tabgha. Continue to Yardinet at the River Jordan, for renewal of our Baptismal Vows.
Day 7 Saturday, May 25
Drive across the Jezreel Valley to Emmaus, where Jesus appeared after His Resurrection. Lunch. Continue to Bethany for Mass, and visit the Tomb of Lazarus. Drive into Jerusalem and check into the Holyland Hotel for 4 nights dinner & breakfast.
Day 8 Sunday, May 26
Drive to the Mount of Olives for group photo, and view the Old City. Visit the Ascension Dome, Pater Noster church, Dominus Flevit, Assumption church and Grotto and the Garden of Gethsemane. After lunch, visit church of St Peter in Gallicantu church of the Cock-Crow, and see the dungeon where Jesus was held on Holy Thursday night. Walk around Mount Zion and visit the church of the Dormition, Tomb of David, and Room of the Last Supper. Return to hotel for dinner.
Day 9 Monday, May 27
Early morning Mass in the Holy Sepulchre. Return to hotel for breakfast. Morning in the Old City of Jerusalem. Visit church of St Anne and Pool of Bethesda. Walk the Via Dolorosa to the church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Rock of Calvary. Visit the Western Wall. Afternoon free in Jerusalem. Evening Holy Hour in the Garden of Gethsemane. Dinner at hotel.
Day 10 Tuesday, May 28
Morning drive to Ein Karem to visit the church of the Visitation, and church of St John the Baptist. Visit Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial. After lunch, visit the Model of Old Jerusalem, and Shrine of the Book.Continue to Nebi Samwil and visit the tomb of Samuel the prophet. Return to hotel for final dinner.
Day 11 Wednesday, May 29
After leisurely breakfast, drive to Jaffa, where we see the home of Simon the Tanner, and celebrate Mass in the Franciscan church of St Peter. Lunch. Free afternoon in Tel Aviv stroll along the beautiful promenade and Mediterranean beach, or do some last minute shopping. Evening transfer to Tel Aviv airport and check-in for overnight flight to Boston.
