Day 1 Sunday, October 11
Depart Boston airport for overnight flight direct to Tel Aviv.
Day 2 Monday, October 12
Arrive in Tel Aviv. Meet coach and guide, and transfer to Manger Square Hotel in Bethlehem, for 2 nights with dinner & breakfast.
Day 3 Tuesday, October 13
After breakfast we take the short walk to the Church of the Nativity and celebrate Mass. Here you can visit the Holy Manger as well as the Chapels of St. Joseph, St. Jerome, the Holy Innocents
and the Church of St. Catherine. Make
your way to the Milk Grotto before
joining our coach and taking the short
drive to the Shepherds Fields. After
lunch we continue to Ein Karem and
visit the Churches of the Visitation.
Return to the hotel for Dinner.
Day 4 Wednesday, October 14
This morning we leave Bethlehem and
visit Bethany for Mass and visit the
Tomb of Lazarus. Then continue to
Jericho to see the Mount of Temptation
where Jesus was tempted by the devil,
and the Sycamore tree of Zacchaeus.
Drive along the Jordan Valley to
Nazareth and check into the 4-star
Golden Crown Hotel for 4 nights with
dinner and breakfast.
Day 5 Thursday, October 15
After breakfast we will make our way
to the Basilica of the Annunciation
to celebrate Mass. Visiting the lower
level of the Basilica we see the remains
of Marys house and where the Angel
Gabriel visited her. Adjacent to the
Basilica is the St. Joseph Church, we visit
the site of Josephs work shop and the
house of the Holy Family. A short walk
from the Basilica is Marys Well here
you have the opportunity to draw water
from the same well as the Virgin Mary.
After some time for lunch we take the
short coach journey to Cana. Couples
on the pilgrimage can take part in
the special ceremony to renew their
wedding vows and there is also prayers
and blessings for spouses at home and
deceased husbands and wives. Return
to Nazareth for dinner in our hotel.
Day 6 Friday, October 16
This morning we make our way to the
Mount of Beatitudes overlooking the
Sea of Galilee, Capernaum and Tabgha.
Take some time to listen to the readings
of the great Sermon on the Mount.
Continue to Capernaum and see the old
Synagogue and the excavations of Peters
house. Visit the site of the multiplication
of the Loaves & Fish at Tabgha, and the
church of the Primacy of Peter. Enjoy
lunch on the shore of the Sea of Galilee
before taking a Boat trip on the lake,
with relevant Bible readings.
Day 7 Saturday, October 17
After breakfast we drive to Mount Tabor
and ascend by taxi for Mass at the church
of the Transfiguration where Jesus is
transfigured and speaks to Moses and
Elijah. Enjoy the view of the Valley of
Armageddon. Return to Nazareth for
some free time. Dinner at hotel.
Day 8 Sunday, October 18
Drive across the Jezreel Valley to
Emmaus, where Jesus appeared after His
Resurrection. Continue to the Mount of
Olives in Jerusalem where we take our
group photo and enjoy the view of the
Old City below. We make our way to
the Ascension Dome and continue to
visit The Pater Noster Church, Dominus
Flevit, Assumption church and Grotto
and the Garden of Gethsemane. Before
checking in a the Holy Land Hotel for 2
nights with dinner and breakfast.
Day 9 Monday, October 19
Morning in the Old City of Jerusalem.
Visit church of St Anne and Pool of
Bethesda. Walk the Via Dolorosa to the
church of the Holy Sepulchre and the
Rock of Calvary. Visit the Western Wall.
Lunch. Afternoon drive to Ein Karem
to visit the church of the Visitation, and
church of St John the Baptist. Visit Yad
Vashem Holocaust Memorial. Holy
Hour in the Garden of Gethsemane.
Day 10 Tuesday, October 20
After breakfast we celebrate Mass in
the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu
or cocks crow, where Peter denied
Jesus three times and see the dungeon
where Jesus was held the night of Holy
Thursday. We walk around Mount Zion
and visit the church of the Dormition
of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Tomb of
David and the Room of the Last Supper.
Before continuing to our Hotel by the
Dead Sea where check-in with dinner
Day 11 Wednesday, October 21
After breakfast well make our way to
the Qasr el Yahud on the River Jordan
to renew our Baptismal Vows. After
we will drive to Masada and ascend
by cable-car to Herods Fort before
returning to the hotel for some free
time before the final dinner of our
Pilgrimage. After dinner we will board
our coach and make our way to the
airport for our flight home.
Day 12 Thursday, October 22
Our flight will depart in the early
hours, due to arrive in Boston in the
