Day 1 Monday, September 20
Depart Orlando airport for overnight flight via Newark to Tel Aviv.
Day 2 Tuesday, September 21
Arrive in Tel Aviv. Meet coach and guide, and transfer to Manger Square Hotel in
Bethlehem, for 2 nights with dinner & breakfast included.
Day 3 Wednesday, September 22
Full day in Bethlehem. Visit the Church of the Nativity and see the birthplace of
Jesus and the Holy Manger. See the Churches of St Catherine, St Jerome, St Joseph,
and the Holy Innocents. Return to the hotel for lunch before an afternoon visit the
Milk Grotto, and the Shepherds Fields. Return to the hotel for dinner and some rest.
Day 4 Thursday, September 23
Morning drive by the Inn of the Good Samaritan, to the Dead Sea. Time to relax or
float on the water near where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found at Qumran. Continue
to Masada and ascend by cable-car to Herods Fort. Break for an opportunity to
enjoy lunch. Afternoon drive into Jericho, see the Mount of Temptation, and the
Sycamore tree of Zacchaeus. Drive to Nazareth, and stay at the Legacy Hotel for 3
nights with dinner and breakfast included.
Day 5 Friday, September 24
Visit the Basilica of the Annunciation, see the Cavehome of the Holy Family,
Josephs workshop, and Marys Well. Depart for Cana and visit the church of the
Wedding Feast site of Jesus first miracle. Renewal of Wedding Vows for married
couples on the trip. Lunch. Afternoon drive to Mount Tabor. Ascend by taxi to
the Church of the Transfiguration, and view the Valley of Armageddon. Return to
hotel for dinner.
Day 6 Saturday, September 25
Boat trip across the Sea of Galilee with relevant Bible readings. Drive to the Mount
of Beatitudes for reading of the great Sermon on the Mount. Lunch of St Peters
Fish. Afternoon visit Capernaum to see the old Synagogue and the excavations of
Peters house. Nearby, visit the church of the Primacy by the sea-shore, and the site
of the Multiplication of the Loaves and Fish at Tabgha. Continue to Yardinet at the
River Jordan, for renewal of our Baptismal Vows.
Day 7 Sunday, September 26
Drive across the Jezreel Valley to Emmaus, where Jesus appeared after His Resurrection.
Lunch. Continue to Bethany for Mass, and visit the Tomb of Lazarus. Drive into
Jerusalem and check into the St George Hotel for 5 nights dinner and breakfast.
Day 8 Monday, September 27
Drive to the Mount of Olives for group photo, and view the Old City. Visit the Ascension Dome, Pater Noster church, Dominus Flevit, Assumption church and Grotto and the Garden of Gethsemane. After lunch, visit church of St Peter in Gallicantu church of the Cock-Crow, and see the dungeon where Jesus was held on Holy Thursday night. Walk around Mount Zion and visit the church of the Dormition, Tomb of David, and Room of the Last Supper. Return to hotel for dinner.
Day 9 Tuesday, September 28
Early morning Mass in the Holy Sepulchre. Return to hotel for breakfast. Morning in the Old City of Jerusalem. Visit Church of St Anne and Pool of Bethesda. Walk the Via Dolorosa to the church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Rock of Calvary. Evening Holy Hour in the Garden of Gethsemane before returning to the hotel for dinner.
Day 10 Wednesday, September 29
After breakfast we will have some free time to enjoy the old city of Jerusalem, before
returning to the hotel for Lunch. In the afternoon we will visit the Western Wall &
continue on to Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial. Return to the hotel for dinner.
Day 11 Thursday, September 30
Morning drive to Ein Karem to visit the church of the Visitation, and church of St
John the Baptist. After lunch, visit the Model of Old Jerusalem, and Shrine of the
Book. Continue to Nebi Samwil and visit the tomb of Samuel the prophet. Return
to hotel for final dinner.
Day 12 Friday, October 1
After breakfast, depart for Jaffa for Mass in the Franciscan church, and see the home of Simon the Tanner. Evening transfer to Tel Aviv airport and check-in for our overnight flight, via Newark to Orlando.
Day 13 Saturday, October 21
Arrive USA.
