Day 1 Depart Washington

Check-in Dulles International Airport for overnight flight to Toulouse with dinner served.

Day 2 - Arrive Lourdes

Following our arrival at Toulouse airport, we will make our way to the baggage claim area and collect our luggage. We will proceed to the arrivals hall, where our guide will be waiting to bring you to your coach for you transfer to Lourdes. On arrival in Lourdes, we will check-in to the Grand Hotel Moderne and relax before dinner, which is usually served around 7pm. After dinner, we can take a short walk down to the Sanctuary to observe the candlelight procession and to pray the Rosary.

Day 3 Lourdes Walking Tour

This morning after breakfast we will depart as a group for Mass. We will return to the hotel for lunch which is served at noon. After lunch we generally meet with our guide at our hotel to embark on the walking tour which follows in the footsteps of St Bernadette. We begin at the cemetery where her parents are buried and walk back in time to visit the Boly Mill, the birthplace of St. Bernadette and the Cachot an abandoned prison where she and her impoverish family lived. During the walking tour we will hopefully get the sense of how the apparitions had such an impact on the family and this small village of Lourdes. After our walk we can take some free time to go back to the sanctuary area for some personal prayer before attending the blessing of the sick. After dinner we will take part in the evening programme as per the Sanctuary schedule which is optional for those who wish to attend the Rosary and the candlelight procession, beginning at 9pm.

Day 4 Rocamadour

After breakfast we celebrate Mass before departing for Rocamadour. We travel to the north-east passing by Toulouse (the Rose City) on route we will stop for a break to enjoy some lunch. Continue on to Rocamadour before we check into the Hotel Beau Site for 1 night, with dinner and breakfast included. After dinner there is the opportunity for an optional mini train trip across the valley to view the illuminations in the evening.

Day 5 Rocamadour & Bourges

Enjoy breakfast in the hotel before spending the rest of the morning the old monastic city of Rocamadour, we visit the Cathedral, celebrate Mass in the Church of Our Lady of Rocamadour, see the statue of the Black Madonna and the Miraculous Bell. See also the churches of St. Blaise and St Michael, and the tomb of St. Amadour. In the afternoon we will drive to Bourges. Check into 4 Bourges Novotel for 1 night with dinner & breakfast included.

Day 6 Nevers & Paris at night

After breakfast we drive to Nevers. Visit the convent of St. Gildard to Celebrate Mass beside the body of St. Bernadette before visiting the infirmary where she died, the Museum and walk in her footsteps in the convent gardens. This afternoon drive to Paris and check into the hotel for 2 nights with breakfast and dinner. After dinner, there will be an cruise on river Seine.

Day 7 Paris

This morning we celebrate Mass at the Shrine of the Miraculous Medal, Rue du Bac and nearby visit the shrine of St. Vincent de Paul. Afterwards our guide will fill you in on lots of facts during our panoramic sightseeing tour of the highlights of Paris include the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomph, Champs Elysees, Notre Dame, Louvre and Les Invalides

Day 8 Lisieux

After breakfast we will take our coach to Lisieux and look forward to a day discovering St. Theresa. We will start with Mass in the Carmel chapel of St. Therese and in the afternoon visit Les Buisonnettes where St. Therese lived and the great Basilica dedicated to her. Check into the hotel in Lisieux.

Day 9 France to Portugal & Fatima

Our guide will collect us at our hotel for our transfer to the airport for our flight to Lisbon. On arrival in Lisbon we meet the Marian Pilgrimages guide and transfer to Fatima for 2 nights in hotel, with lunch, dinner, bed & breakfast.

Day 10 Aljustrel & Santarem

Morning walk the Hungarian Way of the Cross, through the Olive and Oak trees, to Valinhos (where Our Lady appeared on 19th August 1917) to the Calvary. Visit Loca do Anjo where the Angel of Peace appeared to the Children. Continue to Aljustrel and visit the homes of the Little Shepherds and see the Well in Lucias garden where they also had a vision. After lunch we take an afternoon tour to Santarem and visit the Church of St Stephen site of a Eucharistic Miracle over 700 years ago. Return to hotel for final dinner.

Day 11 Depart

After a hearty breakfast, we will head to Lisbon Airport for our return flight to Washington, USA.
