Day 1 - Depart Las Vegas
Departure from Harry Reid International Airport (Las Vegas) for overnight flight to Paris via Los Angeles. No mass on
travel days. Meals included today are aboard the flights.
Day 2 - Arrive Lourdes
Upon arriving at Paris airport, connect with flight to Pau. make your way to the baggage claim area and collect your
luggage. Proceed to the arrivals hall, where you will be greeted by your tour guide and driver. You will embark on a short
drive to the 4-star Grande Hotel Moderne, where youll be staying for 3 nights. Meals included today are dinner at the hotel. Lunch is
excluded and purchased at the airport since you are in-transit.
Day 3 - Lourdes
This morning after breakfast we will depart as a group at and make our way to celebrate Mass in one of the chapels or
basilicas of Lourdes. After Mass we will return to the hotel for lunch which is usually served at 12 noon. Following lunch, we
embark on the walking tour which follows in the footsteps of St Bernadette. We begin at the cemetery where her parents are
buried and walk back in time to visit the Boly Mill, the birthplace of St. Bernadette and the Cachot an abandoned prison
where she and her impoverish family lived. During the walking tour we will hopefully get the sense of how the apparitions
had such an impact on the family and this small village of Lourdes. After our walk we can take some free time to go back
to the sanctuary area for some time of personal prayer before attending the blessing of the sick at 5pm in the Basilica of St
Pius X Basilica. Take some free time before returning to the hotel for dinner severed at 7pm. After dinner we will take part
in the evening programme as per the Sanctuary schedule which is optional for those who wish to attend the Rosary and the
torchlight procession, beginning at 9pm. Meals included today are breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Day 4 - Lourdes
We will begin today at the most sacred site at the sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes, the grotto where Our Lady first appeared
to Bernadette in 1858. Here we can see the original spring which is still visible. There is also an intentions box situated within
the Grotto area where we can leave our intentions. After Mass in one of the chapels or basilicas, we will participate in the
High or Low stations of the cross. The high stations are life size figures which re-enact the passion of Christ. They are located
at the top of the Rosary basilica hill and will take approximately 1.5hr to complete. The low stations are located across from
the baths area and have been designed to facilitate anybody who may have any walking difficulties. Both the high and low
stations are an opportunity to experience Christs unconditional love for us all as we pray together on the passion through
Our Ladys eyes. Return to the hotel for Lunch at 12 noon. Afternoon free. After dinner we again have an opportunity to
take part in the evening programme as per the Sanctuary schedule. Meals included today are breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Lourdes Grotto
It was here while gathering wood that Our Lady first appeared to Bernadette in 1858. During the first two apparitions, little
Bernadette prayed the Rosary with Our Lady and left without any exchange of words. During one of Our Ladys visits to
Bernadette, She announced herself saying I am the Immaculate Conception. Throughout the following apparitions, Our Lady
emphasised Gods love for us, penance and the necessity of performing acts of penance for sinners.
Day 5 - Lourdes & Lisieux
Our day begins with a delicious breakfast in our hotel. After breakfast we will proceed to the candle area where we will
light our group candle and pray for everyones intentions on the pilgrimage. After reruning to the hotel we will transfer to
Lourdes airport for flight to Paris. Meet our coach and drive to Lisieux. According to Pope Pius X, St. Therese of Lisieux was
the greatest saint of modern times. Her extraordinary love for God and service to humanity will come alive, as you walk in
the great Saints footsteps. During your visit, you will see the beautiful Basilica of St. Therese, and the magnificent mosaics
and stained glass that are contained within. Late arrival at the Grand Hotel de lEsprance, where we stay for 3 nights. Meals
included today are breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Day 6 - Lisieux
Upon waking up in Lisieux and enjoying breakfast, you will pray and reflect upon the life of the beloved Saint and celebrate
Mass. After Mass and a visit of the Basilica, you will have the opportunity to view relics, clothing and personal objects of
St. Therese, when you visit her family home, Les Buissonets. Additionally, you will tour the Carmelite Convent, where she
entered in 1888, and is currently entombed in with her parents. Meals included today are breakfast and dinner.
Day 7 - Normandy Beaches
Today we will visit the Normandy Landing beaches. The Normandy landings were the landing operations that took place on
Tuesday, 6 June 1944 (termed D-Day) by the Allies, of Normandy, during World War II. As the largest seaborne invasion in
history, the operation began the liberation of German-occupied Northwestern Europe from Nazi control, and contributed
to the Allies victory on the Western Front. Continue on to visit The Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial, a World
War II cemetery and memorial in Colleville-sur-Mer, Normandy, France, honoring the American troops that died in Europe
during World War II. Many of the brave American soldiers of World War II are buried here, and it is encouraged to say a
prayer in thanksgiving for their courage. Return to Lisieux for dinner and an overnight. Meals included today are breakfast
and dinner.
Day 8 - Mont St. Michel
Today we will visit Mont St. Michel, where the Monastery of Le Mont St. Michele is located, also known as, The Wonder
of the Western World. It is given this name because the Monastery is surrounded by a magnificent bay that has one of
the greatest tidal ranges in Europe, resulting in a breathtaking view. In 709, this Monastery was built and consecrated by
Aubert,Bishop of Avranches at the request of Michael the Archangel. Since the ninth century, the Abbey has been home
to a monastic community, in order to ensure the continuation of a spiritual presence. For centuries, it has been a place of
pilgrimage for those who seek Eternal Life with God. Return to Lisieux for dinner and an overnight. Meals included today
are breakfast and dinner.
Day 9 Lisieux to Paris
After breakfast we leave for morning Mass in Lisieux before departing for Versailles. In the afternoon we visit to the Palace.
See, the famous Hall of Mirrors and the rooms of Former Kings and Queens of France and take some time to stroll through
the royal Gardens before continuing to Paris for 5 nights accommodation with dinner, and breakfast. After dinner we will
take a Cruise on the River Seine to see the highlights of Paris by night. Meals - Breakfast & Dinner
Day 10 - Paris
After breakfast we will enjoy some sightseeing on our way to Our Lady of Miraculous Medal where we will have Mass. After
Mass we will have to opportunity to view the incorrupt body of St. Catherine Laboure. The Saints guardian angel led her to
the chapel, where the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to her. During apparitions, Our Lady repeatedly instructed the making
and purpose of the Miraculous Medal, as well as the green scapular. According to the Blessed Virgin Mary, those who
wear the Miraculous Medal and scapular will receive special protection and abundant graces. Following your prayerful and
reflective experience, we will walk to Saint Vincent de Paul Church for Mass at the Shrine of St Vincent de Paul. Following
Mass we will have some free time at Les Invalides, Notable French war heroes have their remains interred here. One of them
is Napoleon I whose ashes are in a red quartzite sarcophagus. Meals included today are breakfast and dinner.
Day 11 - Paris
Morning Mass. Free time around the centre of Paris for photos. Maybe have a coffee on Champs Elysees. Afternoon visit
the Louvre museum & The Catacombs of Paris before returning to our hotel for dinner before attending the evening show at
the Moulin Rouge. Meals included today are breakfast and dinner.
Day 12 - Paris
After morning Mass we will visit the Eiffel Tower, where we will ascend to the top where we can take in the 360 views over
Paris and enjoy lunch (not included) while on the tower. Back on the coach and drive to Champs Elysees. Stroll along to the
end of the avenue and climb the Arc de Triomphe. Some free time for lunch before meeting our coach to return to our hotel.
Rest awhile before dinner. Meals included today are breakfast and dinner.
Day 13 - Paris
Morning visit to Montmartre area. Attend Mass at the magnificent Sacre Coeur Basilica atop Montmartre Hill. It is dedicated
to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and was originally built in 1914 as an act of penance for the infidelity that France experienced
during the time. In addition to the extraordinary artwork and architecture of the basilica, you will see the beautiful mosaic
of the Risen Christ and the remarkable Grand Organ. Celebrate Mass at the crypt that contains the tombs of many notable
cardinals. Time permitting, you may have the opportunity during your free time to ascend a staircase to the dome, where you
will take in a breathtaking panoramic view of Paris. There is free time to walk among the artists on the hill. Afternoon return
to Paris Centre and stop at the grand Opera House to admire the splendid architecture. The opera house was commissioned
by Napoleon III. Some free time for shopping before returning to our hotel for dinner. Meals included today are breakfast
and dinner.
Day 14 - Return Home
Short transfer to Charles de Gaulle International Airport for return flight to Las Vegas via Amsterdam. Meals included today
are breakfast at the hotel and aboard our flights.
