Daily Itinerary for the 01 September 2026
Day 1 – Tuesday, 1 September 2026 – Depart Boston
Check in at Boston Logan International Airport for your overnight flight to Toulouse, France, via a major European hub.
Rest onboard as you prepare to begin your pilgrimage journey to Lourdes and Fatima.
Day 2 - Wednesday, 2 September 2026 – Arrive Lourdes
Upon arrival in Toulouse, you will be met by your Marian Pilgrimages guide and transferred by coach to Lourdes. Check
in at the Moderne Hotel and take time to settle in. In the afternoon, attend your first group Mass at the Sanctuary of
Our Lady of Lourdes. After dinner at the hotel, you are invited to join the evening Torchlight Marian Procession.
Day 3 – Thursday, 3 September 2026 – Walking Tour of Lourdes
After breakfast, take a guided walking tour of Lourdes. Visit the Boly Mill (St. Bernadette’s birthplace), the Cachot (the
cramped former jail where her family lived), her parish church, and the cemetery. Celebrate Mass at the Grotto. In the
afternoon, participate in the Blessed Sacrament Procession. Following dinner, attend the evening Rosary and Candlelight
Procession.
Day 4 – Friday, 4 September 2026 – Baths and Stations of the Cross
Begin the day with a visit to the Baths of Lourdes or a time of prayer near the Grotto. Celebrate Holy Mass in one of the
chapels. In the afternoon, walk the High Stations of the Cross situated on the hill behind the sanctuary, meditating on
the Passion of Christ. The rest of the day is free for personal prayer, shopping, or quiet time at the shrine.
Day 5 – Saturday, 5 September 2026 – Final Mass in Lourdes / Transfer to Fatima
This morning, celebrate a final Mass in Lourdes and enjoy time for farewell reflections at the Grotto. In the afternoon,
depart by coach to Toulouse Airport (TLS) for your flight to Lisbon (LIS). On arrival, transfer directly to Fatima and check
in to Hotel Estrela. Dinner will be served at the hotel.
Day 6 – Sunday, 6 September 2026 – Introduction to the Sanctuary of Fatima
Begin your pilgrimage in Fatima with a guided visit to the Chapel of the Apparitions, the Basilica of Our Lady of the
Rosary, and the tombs of Sts. Jacinta and Francisco Marto and Sister Lucia. Celebrate Mass at the sanctuary. After dinner,
join the Rosary and Candlelight Procession in the sanctuary square.
Day 7 – Monday, 7 September 2026 – Aljustrel and Valinhos8
This morning, walk the Hungarian Way of the Cross to Valinhos, the site of Our Lady’s August apparition. Continue to
Aljustrel to visit the homes of the three visionaries and the Parish Church where they were baptised. Visit the site of the
Angel’s apparitions at Loca do Cabeço. Return to Fatima in the afternoon. After dinner, participate once again in the
evening procession.
Day 8 – Tuesday, 8 September 2026 – Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity / Eucharistic Miracle in Santarém
Celebrate morning Mass in the modern Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity. Afterward, depart for a day trip to Santarém to
visit the Church of St. Stephen, home to the 13th-century Eucharistic Miracle—one of the oldest in Church history. Spend
time in prayer before returning to Fatima for dinner and a final evening Rosary Procession.
Day 9 – Wednesday, 9 September 2026 – Free Day in Fatima
This is a day of personal pilgrimage and reflection. Attend morning Mass at the Chapel of the Apparitions or in the
Basilica. The rest of the day is free for prayer, revisiting sacred sites, confession, or shopping for religious items. Join your fellow pilgrims for a final group dinner and farewell gathering in the evening.
Day 10 – Thursday 10 September 2026 – Depart Lisbon for Boston
After breakfast, depart Hotel Estrela and transfer by coach to Lisbon Airport for your return flight to Boston. Carry home
memories of your spiritual journey through Lourdes and Fatima, enriched in faith and grace.
