Daily Itinerary for the 10 March 2026

Tuesday, March 10 – Depart Boston
Begin your journey of faith as you gather at Boston Logan International Airport for your overnight flight to France. As you take to the skies, use the quiet hours of travel for spiritual preparation—perhaps praying the Rosary, reading the life of a saint, or simply resting in anticipation of what lies ahead.

Wednesday, March 11 – Arrival in Lourdes
Upon arrival in France, you’ll be warmly welcomed by your Marian Pilgrimages guide. A private coach takes you to Lourdes, nestled in the foothills of the Pyrenees. After checking into your hotel and enjoying your first French meal, celebrate your opening Mass. In the evening, take part in the awe-inspiring Torchlight Marian Procession, joining pilgrims from around the globe in prayer beneath the stars. Dinner and overnight in Lourdes.

Thursday, March 12 – Lourdes: In the Footsteps of St. Bernadette
This deeply spiritual day begins with Mass at the Grotto of Massabielle, where the Blessed Virgin Mary appeared to Bernadette Soubirous in 1858. After breakfast, take a guided walking tour to key sites: the Boly Mill, where Bernadette was born; the Cachot, the cramped cell where her impoverished family lived; the Parish Church, where she was baptized; and the old hospice, where she received her First Communion. In the afternoon, participate in the Blessed Sacrament Procession in the underground Basilica of St. Pius X, a profound moment of healing and Eucharistic adoration. The evening is free to revisit the Grotto or pray quietly. Dinner and overnight in Lourdes.

Friday, March 13 – Lourdes to Montpellier
After breakfast and morning Mass, depart Lourdes and journey east across southern France to the elegant city of Montpellier. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided visit through the historic old town, featuring the Cathedral of Saint-Pierre, Montpellier’s impressive medieval archway, and the lively Place de la Comédie. Take some time for quiet reflection in one of the city’s chapels or simply rest with a journal in one of the shaded gardens. Dinner and overnight in Montpellier.

Saturday, March 14 – Montpellier, Bourg St. Andéol & Onward to Nevers
Begin the morning with Mass in Montpellier, then depart for Bourg St. Andéol, a peaceful town on the Rhône River. Here you’ll visit the shrine of St. Andéol, a 2nd-century martyr and disciple of St. Polycarp. His witness of faith continues to inspire pilgrims to this day. Mass (TBD) at the Motherhouse of the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary. Tour (TBD) of the motherhouse including St. Marie Rivier’s bedroom. The international motherhouse was permanently established at Bourg-Saint-Andéol, which is in the Diocese of Viviers in the Rhône Valley, southern France. As of 2024, the sisters report 850 members ministering in 19 countries in Europe, Africa, Asia, North and South America. After time for prayer and a brief stop for lunch, continue your journey north to Nevers, arriving in the evening. After check-in and dinner, enjoy a peaceful walk or early night of rest. Overnight in Nevers.

Sunday, March 15 – Nevers: Sanctuary of St. Bernadette
This morning, celebrate Mass at the Convent of St. Gildard, the final home of St. Bernadette. Here, you will see her incorrupt body resting in a glass casket—silent testimony to her sanctity. Visit the museum, the infirmary where she died, and walk the convent gardens where she often prayed. Nevers is a place of peace and contemplation, offering you the chance to sit quietly with the Lord and deepen your connection to Bernadette’s humble spirituality. Dinner and overnight in Nevers.

Monday, March 16 – Chartres Cathedral and On to Paris
After breakfast, travel through the French countryside to Chartres, home of the majestic Cathedral of Our Lady, one of the greatest masterpieces of Gothic architecture. Celebrate Mass and venerate the Sancta Camisia, the veil believed to have been worn by the Virgin Mary. Marvel at the stunning stained-glass windows and walk the medieval labyrinth in prayer if open. In the afternoon, continue to Paris, the City of Light, where faith and history intersect in every corner. Dinner and overnight in Paris.

Tuesday, March 17 – Paris: Rue du Bac and Montmartre
Start your day with Mass at the Chapel of the Miraculous Medal at 140 Rue du Bac, where Our Lady appeared to St. Catherine Labouré in 1830. Venerate her relics and visit the nearby tomb of St. Vincent de Paul, whose work with the poor reshaped the face of Catholic charity. In the afternoon, climb to Montmartre and the Basilica of Sacré-Cœur, one of France’s most treasured places of Eucharistic Adoration. Since 1885, continuous Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament has taken place here. Spend time in silent prayer and reflection. Dinner and overnight in Paris.

Wednesday, March 18 – Paris: Faith & History
After breakfast, celebrate Mass at Saint-Étienne-du-Mont, which houses the tomb of St. Geneviève, patroness of Paris. Following Mass, enjoy a panoramic sightseeing tour of Paris, seeing iconic landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, Les Invalides, and the Louvre. Visit Notre Dame Cathedral. (Mass at Notre Dame Cathedral – Day TBD) In the afternoon, enjoy personal time: you may choose to revisit a church, pray in one of Paris' hidden chapels, or simply rest and reflect. Dinner and overnight in Paris.

Thursday, March 19 – Pilgrimage to Lisieux
After breakfast, travel northwest to Lisieux, the hometown of St. Thérèse of the Child Jesus, the Little Flower. Visit Les Buissonnets, her childhood home, and celebrate Mass at the Carmelite Convent, where she lived and is buried. In the afternoon, spend time at the Basilica of St. Thérèse, a place of great beauty and peace. Take time to pray at her reliquary and walk the grounds in quiet contemplation. This evening, enjoy a farewell dinner to give thanks for the journey shared and the grace received. Overnight in Lisieux.

Friday, March 20 – Return to Boston
After breakfast, depart Lisieux for Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport and your return flight to Boston. As you board your plane, carry home the spiritual graces of Lourdes, the legacy of the saints, and the peaceful beauty of sacred France.
